Model/Year: EA30 Stem

Pros: For the price, it can't be beat.
Looks nice.
Easton quality

Cons: Weight

Recommendation: Really not a con, the weight thing. For a sub-$20 stem, what do you expect? These are great for someone looking to change out the stem on their entry level bike and looking to upgrade a bit. Pretty bullet proof construction. I'm a big fan of the Easton items.

Model/Year: 2011

Pros: CHEAP!! 4 bolt faceplate it easy to torque evenly.

Cons: Feels like it weighs a metric ton compared to my other stems. Gigantic E on faceplate is kind of ugly but it's purely cosmetic.

Recommendation: Got the 120mm version of this for $12 from Jenson last year just in case I ever wanted to try a longer stem. Traded it to a friend for use on his road bike after trying it out for a week. Works as advertised.

Pros: Light

Recommendation: This stem added 15mm between my bars and top post, allowing me an easier time fitting on my Focus Dog Fish. It put up with the stresses I put on it, which wasn't anything great, but it certainly got the job done for me quite nicely.
