Model/Year: Elite Thermafleece

Pros: Super warm and great fit. Good quality construction and sleek styling. Reflective piping is great for night rides and the zippers are smooth.

Cons: As some have mentioned, the chamois is just ok. I find them a little tight on my calves - and I don't have huge legs by any means. The drawstring is also a bit chintzy.

Recommendation: These thermal tights will do the job on the trail, keeping you warm in even the coldest conditions. I've found they even do a good job retaining their insulation value when damp/wet. The best I've tried so far, though I wouldn't say they're perfect.

Pros: Very warm and comfortable on cold days.

Cons: Could have a little more padding in the camois area. Also, would be nice if they made them in differant lengths. Im short and I have alot of extra material in the length. Not a big deal though.

Recommendation: Great tights. I would recomend them. I have been warm on rides this fall with temps down around 30 degrees.

Pros: Very comfortable. Keeps the breeze and chill out on a cold SoCal day of about 55-70 degrees.

Cons: My ankle zippers keep coming undone. I cured this problem by rolling up the bottoms.

Recommendation: The Thermafleece is a great addition to any cold weather riding. Especially if you can pick them up for real cheap on Ebay like I did.

Recommendation: I got a pair of these off of eBay.... and they're very warm & comfortable. I even wear 'em on normal days instead of our standard issue Army polypro cold-weather stuff, and they've held up very well. They breath excellently, hold in heat, and repel water nicely. The only problem that I've found is that they're only about 50% windproof. This is good for the breathability of the tights, but at temperatures under 35, it's too much. To offset this, I wear a pair of Polartech tights under the Izumi tights, which gets the windproofed-ness up to about 75%, and still allows your sweat to evaporate. I recommend these tights for dry/damp climates, & temperatures between 35 degrees-55 degrees F.
