Model/Year: M670/ 2014

Pros: Nice price
Weight to price ratio

Cons: Not quite as nice as the XT versions

Recommendation: Is it really a con to say that these aren't quite as nice as the XT versions? I don't really think so, but that's another way to say "none" on that category. To me, the SLX shifters are a great spot to save a little $$ if you're putting together your own bike from parts, or you are upgrading or replacing older components. I'd much rather spend my money on the XT/XTR Derailluer or cranks. If you live in a flat area as I do, save your money on the brakes as well and get the SLX brakes too. I love my mixed components as I feel I can get the best for me and spend where I think is most important and save a litte cash where possible.
