Model/Year: 2011

Pros: Cheap and available in a variety of colors and sizes.

Cons: the plastic shim underneath the lever wore out in 2 weeks. 2! and there is basically no way to get a new shim.

Recommendation: Spend another $10 bucks and get a clamp that will last longer than a month.

Pros: Long lever handle, inexpensive

Cons: Plastic shim wears out

Recommendation: This is how I quickly drop my seat before doing technical down hills. I really like the long lever handle on it. It makes it easy to release and re-secure the seat post. Dropper posts are so expensive; this option right now is the next best thing.

*Update*
Changed the rating down to a 2. The plastic shim does wear out quickly if you use it a lot. This one is not made for heavy duty use.
