- Looks killer
- Easy to install/remove
- Tougher to bend (due to reinforced spider)
- Requires a Shimano Saint specific tool to install (oversized and different than normal center lock/cassette tools)
- Compatibility, requires specific hubs or at minimum adapters
To me I think that the cons easily out weigh the pros in general and in terms of performance and function. And the need to spend more on a Saint specific center lock tool is the cherry on top. I mean not only does Shimano charge a ridiculous price (almost twice as much as the conventional 6 bolt disc) but then you need to purchase the $30 Saint Center lock tool to install it.
They're not worth the money... even though I think they look great.
