Pros: Very light
Tubeless use is a breeze

Cons: Not the right rim for everyone

Recommendation: These are awesome rims for the right application - fairly light/non-abusive XC riders. Uses the proven NoTubes tubeless system, is stiff enough, and very very light.

Pros: Lightweight
Allowed awesome hub

Cons: Too lazy to set up tubeless
Spent too much money on bike to afford to switch at this time

Recommendation: A great wheel. Very strong, rolls true, has handled everything I've thrown it at, and if I had the extra cash available, would allow me to go tubeless on the rear of the bike. A great setup and a definite selling point when I picked up the new (to me) bike.

Model/Year: 2010

Pros: Light. Look good with stickers off in low profile mode.

Cons: Can dent easily on rock strikes. Chaning certain tires is a BEAST unless you use the right technique.

Recommendation: I rode GG's wheels for a few months which had these laced to a set of Hope Pro 2s. The lack of rolling resistance is noticeable. Changing tires SUCKED! Set them up with stans and you won't need to worry about it.

Pros: At 340g per rim, it's incredibly light. Low profile, stealth look.

Cons: Putting tires on can be a test on your patience because of the relatively shallow rim depth.

Recommendation: With Stan's yellow tape installed, tire installation is reasonable and the stiffness and weight of the rim make it IDEAL for XC riding.
