Model/Year: Manitou Revox Pro

Pros: Looks great, works even better, ease of set up, well put together.

Cons: Nothing so far

Recommendation: I bought this shock for a replacement of the original shock on my 2003 Giant Warp DS3. I wanted a coil shock and found the Manitou Revox Pro in the size I needed ( 7.5 x 2.0 ) on Price Point for $149.99. The price alone sold me but every review I read had nothing but good things to say about it. I installed it on my bike and rode it around the block and it didn't move, until I hit a tiny bump and it compressed. This thing nearly locks out while pedaling on flat surfaces but once you hit the tough stuff it reacts smoothly and consistently. I have upgraded every part on my bike except the frame itself and this is by far the best upgrade. I have way more fun riding with this shock than I ever thought possible. I have ridden this shock all summer and every ride I am just so happy I bought this. If you can find one buy it you won't be disappointed.

Pros: Price has dropped to MSRP $400.00 The new Revox has had a few updates with graphics and finishes. All the settings work and can be felt

Cons: Detents could be made better so you can easily change settings without counting turns

Recommendation: This shock works equally as well as the other brands that are out there, The good thing is the ease at setting the shock up with names you understand. low speed compression, high speed compression bottom out resistance, rebound. With the performance of shock it doesn't fade and works awesome in rock gardens. Big hits works equally as well.
