Model/Year: Mini inflator

Pros: Small, light, enables control of air flow and lets you save partially used cartridges.

Cons: Easy to lose, Does not lock on to Presta valve securely. Requires practice to master.

Recommendation: Have wasted a couple of cartridges figuring out how to use this. Be sure control knob at end is fully closed (turn clockwise until it stops) before cracking cartridge. Must clamp chuck very firmly over the valve with your hand (wrap around tire and rim) or it will leak. Slowly release air with counter clockwise turns. Or, get pricier unit with positive lock to the valve.

Model/Year: 2012

Pros: Simple, durable unit that allows you to regulate the amount of CO2 going into your tire.

Cons: Keep some gloves on or make sure that you have the rubber sleeve for the CO2 bottle when you fill your tire or you will freeze your fingers to the bottle.

Recommendation: Super light and small. If you are tired of pumps, give this unit a shot. Just don't forget that tires won't hold CO2 as long as regular Air.
