Pros: cheap and as functional as the more expensive versions of the Egg Beater pedals.

Cons: Cheaper materials wear down faster and dont allow for rebuilding.

Recommendation: I've had a set of these for a year and they are already worn out cosmetically. Functionally they are still performing well but it is obvious that the springs are getting looser. Wish I had spent a little more $$ up front and bought the next set up in the line up so they would be rebuildable.

Pros: Light, simple, inexpensive, sheds mud

Cons: None yet

Recommendation: Had to add a review after reading the previous one. I haven't had a single issue with my MXRs being loud or loose. Great, sturdy pedals with easy installation and breakaway. Couldn't ask for more for the price.

Pros: Simple design, sheds mud.

Cons: LOUD. Cheap.

Recommendation: One pedal had a loose cage and rattled if simply shaken in your hand. The 'loose' pedal also seemed to have a bearing that didn't turn as well as the other. MSRP shown on this site is $60, but $30 seems to be them norm online right now. I wouldn't recommend these. Had a pair of XT, going to put those back on.
