Pros: Great 3 sided easy clip in

Cons: Hard to find where to clip into

Recommendation: Good baseline cleags

Pros: Mud/snow/ice/dirt shedding is unmatched, lightweight, easy in/out

Cons: Not a solid connection, can create hot points, can be hard to find with your cleat

Recommendation: These are great for winter rides where you might be on and off often and need to clear snow and debris, but otherwise the stronger platform and better connection of either Candys or SPDs are better for your money.

Pros: Mud and snow shedding
light
4 sided clip in

Cons: non existent platform
extreme float

Recommendation: I ran these for about 6 months and they were the easiest pedals on knees that i used because of the float. down side to that was I felt like my foot was going to unclip at any given moment. After these I switched to flats and haven't looked back

Pros: Lightweight, nice looking.

Cons: No platform for tech and without spread pressure I got hotspots near the cleat after only a few miles. Hotspots I never got in other systems.

Model/Year: 2007

Pros: Great pedals, very strong, light weights, keep you connected to the bike. don't hold mud, and easy to clean

Cons: Pedal can be hard to get in and out of at times. You have to plan ahead if you want to get out of the pedals. Non-adjustable tension

Recommendation: High recommended.

Model/Year: Egg Beater 2

Pros: Ability to get in and out, mud shedding , easy to rebuild

Cons: Not great if you ever want to just ride around the neighborhood without wearing MTB shoes.

Recommendation: I recommend these for someone who is learning how to ride clipped in, they are east to get in and out of.

Model/Year: Unknown

Pros: Mud Shedding, lightweight

Cons: Not meant for riding with sandals (joking)

Recommendation: I bought these at a bike swap meet for 5 bucks. For that money I have nothing to complain about.

Pros: Sheds mud
Lightweight
Cool colors
Float

Cons: None

Recommendation: Don't complain about rock strikes with these! Pedals are used to spin the cranks, They aren't called bash guards.

Pros: -Very small and light
-Shed mud quickly
-Indestructible so far
-Heavy spring means staying connected to the bike

Cons: -If you over think it, it feels odd to stand and mash on these because of the small footprint

Recommendation: I prefer flats over clipless but these are my favorite clipless pedals.
