Pros: Good ingredients.
Shelf life

Cons: None

Recommendation: I'm a big fan of the Clif bars. Find a flavor you like and eat them pre-ride, during or post-ride. I like pre-ride. Available everywhere. I get mine at Kroger for $1 ea.

Recommendation: This is a good tasting bar with just enough caffeine to give you that last little bit of energy during your ride.

Pros: Quite tasty
Easy to pack
Keeps for a long time, so buy in bulk when on sale

Cons: Not a good substitute for a morning cup-o-coffee

Recommendation: With only 50mg equivalent of caffeine, this won't keep you awake for the long haul, but it will provide a tasty treat that will give a quick pick-you-up while out on the trail for a day.

Pros: Pretty good taste as i have a sweet tooth for toffee and easy to pack, light, and a long shelf life!

Cons: Leaves you dry gonna want water near by when you eat this

Recommendation: Clif bars are great snacks for on the trail, off trail, before you get on the trail, and right after you get off the trail! I strongly recommend them to other riders!

Cons: Same review was save twice :/

Pros: - filling as are all the Clif Bars
- small and easy to pack
- light
- like twinkies as they stay for a long time.
- a variety of flavors

Recommendation: Clif Bars are a great snack on my way to a ride after work when I'm hungry. They are very easy to pack for trail snack. I usually have a Cliff Bar or a Kashi Bar in my Camelbak along with jolly rancher candies.
