Pros: Great handling Good, reliable suspension and brakes Super-solid frame that takes all types of trails and terrains Very good value for money - got mine for $2550 NZD including dropper post and 3 services (brand new!)

Cons: Rear suspension doesn't lockout very well, only stiffens it slightly

Recommendation: First upgrade was a dropper post as they don't come standard with one Perfect bike for MTB beginners to advanced.

Pros: - Great geometry
- Indestructable frame
- Great components for the money; You can always upgrade later
- Cool crunchy brand for hippies

Cons: - Disc brakes are just ok

Recommendation: This is an awesome entry-level bike for someone who needs full features so they can rip hardcore trails but they're not ready to pay 2-3x more for a carbon bike. I'm hitting some of the best parks in New England and loving my Kona Precept 130.
