Pros: If you want a hardy light that's compact and bright as hail then go with a cygo, any of them over 400 lumens is killer. It has a few different settings, is weather resistant and charges with a usb cable

Cons: None

Recommendation: I recomenend this light to anyone who doesn't mind spending the extra cash for a great product. They have trail specific lights but expilion series work as well. Just be sure to check on the latch knob every now and then.

Model/Year: 2012

Pros: 410 lumens, survived a nasty crash on a wet board walk, Lights up the trail very well.

Cons: No helmet mount

Recommendation: There is a local night ride every Saturday night. It sure lights the trail up and even a wide paved path. Riders a few bike lengths up can also use the light.

Pros: Compact, Handlebar mount is excellent, Long Battery Life on Hi and Boost

Recommendation: This is a great light. I have taken night rides on the medium setting and was able to see just fine although I prefer the Hi setting. I do not see a need to use the boost setting as it just burns the battery time faster. The handlebar mount is great this thing does not move at all when hitting the big bumps. I did not get the next model up which is the 500 which would include a helmet mount because I know I would not use it on my helmet but I believe that can be bought separately. Great light overall at a $109 dollar cost.

Pros: Light Pattern

Brightness

Mounting Methods

Quality

Cons: Battery Life

Recommendation: I really like this light. For the price point, it's the brightest and highest quality I've found. At 400 lumens, it's brighter than my Magicshine 1000 lumen light.

I would like to have more life(2 hrs on highest output), but for it's compact size, it's no wonder that it doesn't last longer.
