Pros: Adjustability
Best mech levers

Cons: None

Recommendation: If your still using mech brakes these are great to fine tune the feel. You can set them up fairly easy. With mech brakes the front lever pull always felt better than the rear. The long cable that is needed for the rear is the reson for the crappy feel. With these levers you can kind of compensates for that.

Pros: - Adjustable levers
- Good leverage
- Everything feels tight and well built
- Cheap!

Cons: - Mechnical brakes
- Resale value is poor

Recommendation: The best mech levers available on the market. If you run mech brakes these are a must and an immediate upgrade.

I'm only giving them a 4 because in my mind mech brakes are a thing of the past. Descent hydros can be purchased for just a couple of bucks more.

Pros: -Adjustable
-Easy to set up

Cons: -They're made by Avid (but they work!)

Recommendation: If you absolutely must run mechanical disc brakes...these are the levers you must have.

Model/Year: speed dial 5s

Pros: Super cheap and decently adjustable for v brake levers.

Cons: Flimsy levers that warp upon almost any impact. Luckily they can be bent back.

Recommendation: Not bad for V brake levers. Wish they were a bit more durable but the cost probably is a huge factor in that.

Model/Year: 2011

Model/Year: 2012

Pros: Price, durability, easy maintenance, allows fine tune adjustment, and easy installation.

Cons: adjusting takes time to perfect.

Recommendation: These can be found all over the internet for 20. They are incredibly easy to install and have held up well under any abuse I've thrown at them. These are some of the best mechanical brake levers available.
