Industry Nine 650B Trail custom wheels/hubs

June 4, 2015
Model/Year: Torch hubs / 2013

Pros: Great look, great sound, great customer service

Cons: Bearing wear...

Recommendation: Had to replace the bearings in my rear wheel TWICE in the first 13 months of ownership. I called Industry 9 and while they sent me a free bearings, they said going through them in 4-6 months is not unusual. As much as I love the look of the I-9's, I'll stick to CK's and DT 240's.

Model/Year: 32 hole, standard driver

Pros: Fine craftsmanship. Tight tolerances mean these hubs run smooth and true. They look nice. Very adaptable.

Cons: Wish the freehub buzzing was less pronounced in the rear. (At least it's not as bad as some others.)

Recommendation: Great choice for a custom wheel build. The ability to run J-bend spokes on a set of I9 hubs is very welcome indeed!

Model/Year: 2012 DH-150

Pros: Incredible engagement, incredible sound, sick looking, excellent workmanship.....nuff said!!!

Cons: None!!!!

Recommendation: These babies have super incredible instant engagement, sleek design, excellent workmanship, sound awesome with out that real loud rattlesnake sound. These are far better than Chris King or Hope Pro. Hadley are hard to beat, but these are right up with them along with Profile racing.
