Giro Feature MIPS

December 28, 2016

Model/Year: 2016

Pros: Comfortable, Light, Good coverage

Cons: Hot

Recommendation: This would be a good fall/winter helmet. If the temps hit 80 my head begins to really sweat which is not a problem I've had with other helmets

Model/Year: Feature MIPS

Pros: Light
MIPS
Great fit
Bright colors

Cons: Vents
Difficult to attach my light (again, vents)

Recommendation: I've only worn this in the fall and winter. I never had an overheat issue... But I also wasn't cold through the winter... Perhaps I'll come back after this summer and give an update.
It is one of the most comfortable helmets I've ever worn. I purchased the bright orange and yellow helmet because I took a picture one evening and noticed my entire kit is black... Difficult to find me in the woods if I wipe out. So bright helmet it is!

Model/Year: 2014

Pros: Light
Protection
Comfortable
Colors

Recommendation: My new bike helmet for sure! It doesn't make you look like a tool and has a lot of protection without going full face. It's a lot lighter than I expected and has some cool color options. The straps are not adjustable by the ears, but that's ok because they're sized right and lay flat on the cheek. I love this helmet.

Model/Year: 2014

Pros: Nice helmet with good lower protection. I really like the light-weight, single strap.

Cons: Like the styling and air flow of the Bell Stoker better.

Recommendation: Good all-mountain helmet. Recommended.

Model/Year: 2013

Pros: Color combos, good looks, comfortable.

Cons: None yet

Recommendation: I've logged close to 30 hour in this Helen since I go it in August and love it so far. I have the graphite mat color and haven't noticed the scaring like the earlier post.
