Q: How much does a complete bike (frame size L) weigh? -Jeff Barber

A: 35-40 lbs. I didn't weight mine, but that's what you get with stock wheels and tires. You can easily shave a lot of that weight by switching to drilled rims with lighter tires

Model/Year: 2013

Pros: size
weight
specs
steel frame

Cons: no fork

Recommendation: I purchased this in November 2013 after renting the 2012 version, from Freewheel in Jasper, AB, a number of times. The enjoyment factor is huge and the places I have taken this opens even more areas compared to the normal tire size of a mountain bike. I bought the small and my husband got a medium. He wishes he had gotten the small as well, for the clearance factor on abrupt stops (teehee).

Pros: Goes anywhere, not fast but fun, like driving a tractor through the woods, and the Pugsleys bullet prof.

Cons: Not any

Recommendation: If your in a hurry don't buy a Pugs, but if you want to have year round fun plus a good work out go for it!!!! Go Pugs!

Model/Year: 2010

Pros: Versatile, rolls over anything, simple

Cons: None, really

Recommendation: First of all, I like its weight - it helps to smooth the ride on rough trails. Next, this is absolutely different type of bike and different riding. It will roll over anything and grip is unbelievable. I've reached a top speed on it as high as 32 mph downhill. Yeah, uphill it's a bit slower then "normal" bike.
This bike could be geared, singlespeed, internal gear hub, racks and fenders all together. Front and rear wheel could be swapped in a second.
And it does roll over deep snow, sand and mud, where others carry their bikes.
Only one thing I'd like to change is to upgrade derailers later for better shifting

Pros: It is a 2 wheeled monster truck in a BSO. It is extremely versatile, you can run 29er wheels on it if you want to run it as a rigid mountain bike as well.

Cons: The only thing you can nit pick about is the weight.

Recommendation: This is about as much fun as you can have on a bike. It goes anywhere, yes it takes a little more horsepower up climbs, but I've seen them setup a singlespeeds too! It will roll over anything and everything from the cat, the kids, the wife's flower garden, to snow, sand, asphalt, everything! The only thing I can suggest is that if you're not happy with how it handles just experiment with your tire pressure, that really makes a huge difference in how it handles and rides.
