Pros: I love the weight, the quality of materials, good welds.

Cons: Cost, but you get what you pay for.

Recommendation: I rock the SS 29er and seriously if you are debating any SS go for it. The quality of the bike is ridiculous, never had a problem mechanically. Over all this bike is rock solid and fun to ride. BUY IT!

Pros: Very light weight; easily loaded into the back of a compact car with front wheel removed.

Cons: Too little sprocket clearance; Tire traction; Grips

Recommendation: Not a great East-coast bike. With all the roots and large trees there are to ride over, this bike underperforms. The tread is very slippery over roots and trees. I'm definitely planning on upgrading the tires. Even with the 29er, the sprocket is constantly scraping while riding over log obstacles. After 4 or five rides the grips started slipping a bit as well. Also, the listing above has Fox forks but mine came with Rock Shox Rebas 80mm (which are great by the way).
