Model/Year: 2009

Pros: Light and durable. Good dampening.

Cons: There are lighter options available. Wish it was offered in different widths.

Recommendation: Got to use GoldenGoose's bar for a few months while I got carbon for my own cockpit. Definitely worth the investment; especially since they can be found cheaper than MSRP. Carbon dampening is a must have on bumpy rides.

Pros: Vibration, Vibration, Vibration dampening. Looks slick.

Cons: Only comes in black..I'm joking. A little difficult to get the ODI lock-on grips to grab.

Recommendation: What a difference a good carbon bar can make. it helps filter out the myraid of frequencies coming through the bike into our bodies via our hands and arms. Definitely helps reduce fatigue. Intended for XC but I play the AM game with them without issue.

Pros: Light weight. Strong. Vibration dampening. Alignment indicator prinited on bars. Reinforced clamp zones. Thick clear coat layer to protect Carbon fiber underneath.

Cons: Expensive.

Recommendation: Sweet carbon riser bars for people looking to lighten up the front end and get a bit of vibration dampening to boot. Not an item I would be brave enough to go hit major jumps with but fantastic for aggresive XC.
