Pros: Good protection for palms and knuckles. Padding for ulnar nerve under pinky that's gets sore when you ride. They look cool! Mine are all black.

Cons: None.

Recommendation: Finally found an excellent pair of gloves with good protection that fits well and looks great!

Model/Year: 2015

Pros: Light
Durable
Decent upper finger protection

Cons: no palm padding (not gel)

Recommendation: The other reviews have covered about everything, but, there is no real padding in the palm, you would not consider these to be "downhill" hand protection and they are not warm enough for winter riding. Those are not complaints, just reality. A good, comfortable XC glove for mild weather riding.

Model/Year: 2014

Pros: These gloves are awesome.
-Great fit
-Well-ventilated
-Excellent padding
-Protects your palm with extra padding
-Fingers are ventilated
-They can be used on screens, (ex. smartphone, GPS) without taking them off

Recommendation: I love this gloves. I got them for $20, at Eden Bicycles in Castro Valley, CA. They fit great, look cool, and protect your hands well. I definitely recommend buying a pair of these.

Model/Year: 2011

Pros: I also have a pair of Fox Digit; both of these gloves are very similar. Even though I'm a bit more impressed with the Fox Digit gloves, the Giro Xen gloves are great. Nice fit. Granted, both these gloves don't have a ton of padding, but I'm not sure if that's needed all the time. I use them both A LOT, and I don't have callouses, blisters, etc. I just wish they were a bit cheaper.

Cons: Hard to find on sale.

Pros: Comfortable, durable, all to use my smart phone with them on,

Cons: Non yet

Recommendation: Had these since October and love them. They are light and don't overheat my hands plus provide good protection. As a pleasant surprise I can us my phone without taking them off. Would recommend these all day long.

Model/Year: 2010 black

Pros: good fit, durable, and protective.

Cons: needs to be washed to reshape every few weeks. strap.

Recommendation: This is a great all-round glove, after a full year around 1000mi of riding no tears in the seams at all. good padding on palms. however the extra rubber on the top of the hand has no use to me. you also might have to wash it every so often to shrink em up!
