The 2011 Leviathan 4.0 is as slick as it is fast. For the Lightest 29er in it's class, the Leviathan has proven it's worthiness on trails of all types. New for 2011 is an optional inset tapered head tube for a modest upgrade. The inset tapered system is lighter than the traditional 1 1/8"/1.5" tapered steerer design, and provides incredible front end stiffness. Mating the Leviathan 4.0 with a Fox Terralogic fork gives you the ultimate endurance racing or long XC racing bike. The geometry optimizes performance, comfort, and maneuverability, and you won't find a lighter and stiffer full suspension 29er with four inches of travel. This Lenz bike is perfect for all day epic rides and also a popular choice for endurance racers. The 4.0 is built with XC geometry, and also makes a great light all-mountain bike. The Leviathan has been cleaning up race circuits around the world since it's debut as one of the first full suspension 29ers. We are constantly improving the design of the Leviathan over the years, and you will be amazed at the superb handling and low weight of this Lenz bike. At Lenz Sport, we don't sacrifice durability to get a light frame. That is why we press fit our downtubes into custom shapes that increase strength and stiffness while keeping the weight to a minimum. Our XC bikes come standard with 32mm OD seat tubes and run 27.2 seatposts, except in XL and XXL sizes, which use a 35mm OD and 30.9mm seatpost. With lightweight components, complete bikes can be built as low as 25lbs!
