Model/Year: 2016 Trek X Caliber 9

Pros: Sturdy, grippy, thin, nicely finished

Cons: According to what I've read they are considered heavy. As a new rider, I haven't noticed.

Recommendation: These are a huge step up from stock pedals. The platform feels nice and wide. The studs seem to grip well and spares are provided.

Pros: These pedals are a great alternative to clip ins. They are designed for downhill racing so you they are designed to hold your foot to the pedal. They have washers under the medal studs however I haven't had a need to remove the washers yet. My feet are stuck like glue to the pedals. The only suggestion I can make to make sure your shoes have a smooth sole on the them. That gives the pedals more surface to grab onto.

Cons: None so far

Recommendation: I highly recommend these pedals as an alternative to clip in pedals

Model/Year: 2013

Pros: Grippy
Smooth
Small profile

Cons: Zero

Recommendation: Loves these pedals perfect grip and smooth pedaling. I ride in extremely rocky areas and have struck these to all heck and back and they are still going strong.
