Model/Year: 2013

Pros: inexpensive, grippy, nice big spot to plant your feet

Cons: The first time it smashes into your shin you will know.

Recommendation: Good flat pedal that wont break the bank. I ride them hard and they still work flawlessly.

Edit: I noticed the price on the page says they run about 70 bucks, I found these at a LBS for about 40 bucks.

Pros: Great pedal at a great price. Feel is good and they spin well. Durable, I struck a trail side boulder and knocked a peg out, the hole for the peg was unaffected and new one went in without any trouble.

Cons: Could be thinner, lighter, and come in other colors, but overall, none really.

Recommendation: Huge upgrade over the stock pedals that come on entry level bikes.

Pros: no slip -- ever! broad profile for those of us with wide feet

Cons: those little pegs can make some big holes in your skin.

Recommendation: highly recommend for those who want the dependability of the clips, but don't want to be attached to the bike.

Pros: thin profile, good pins, cheap

Cons: it hurts if they catch your shin

Recommendation: I have been using these for a few months and I love them, your feet will not slip off of these, they have a broad platform so they are very comfortable in my vans.
