Model/Year: 2013/14

Pros: All-mountain; DJ and XC
Strong frame

Cons: Saddle; replace quickly
When you get a hybrid like this you sacrifice climbing.
Not the lightest but not too heavey

Recommendation: For $650 brand new with lifetime warranty on the frame this can't be beat! Specialized managed to get good components and keep it on a tight budget. This is a great entry-level bike especially if you're not sure what your style is. It can handle the abuse. Great for jumping and trails but climbing takes some effort.

Pros: Tight wheel base, back wheel is right up under you, super strong frame

Cons: Not the most attractive tubing, but its strong

Recommendation: It was my first DJ bike and I wish I never sold it.

Pros: Frame and cool looks
Integrated chain tensioners

Cons: Low end components.
Bolt on axles.
Low bars

Recommendation: This bike was nice to ride, but the front end felt too low. I had to crouch over it. Some high rise bars would be better. I liked the p3 better for components and feel.
