Pros: Cheap. Works Well Considering The Price. Has Stayed in One Piece.

Cons: Constantly Gets Knocked Out Of Alignment. Too Much Lag Time While Shifting, Even after being indexed. Limiting screws aren't doing anything so they must have stripped out or something but are now useless.

Recommendation: There's not too much I can say here that hasn't already said by other reviewers. Very cheap but has worked ok. I don't often ever shift out of my 2nd gear so it doesn't get used too often. It came OME on my $750 bike(for reasons I can't understand) but I don't think I'd get another one. Unless I was completely broke.

Pros: cheap good for the price

Cons: cheap

Recommendation: it's good if $20 is your budget, if you have a larger budget get a better one.

Pros: Probably the cheapest, quality derailleur you can buy from a named brand/company. You can't beat the $20 price tag.

Cons: The pros end with the price. Indexing with this derailleur is a pain. I've had to adjust it so many times just to get it to work properly. Finally gave up and took it to the lbs and it took 2 visits for them to finally get it dialed in.

Recommendation: Not the best option out there. Yes it's dirt cheap but you get what you pay for. If this derailleur didn't come stock with my bike, I'd pick something else. I'll just use it until it dies and upgrade to a better one.

Pros: Cheap, works

Cons: None for the price.

Recommendation: People will say its cheap and you have to tinker with it all the time, but if you really ride you're most likely tinkering with everything all the time anyways.

Model/Year: 2005

Pros: - Inexpensive
- Came stock on an entry level bike and has survived 2 or 3 rough seasons of beginner abuse. It is still on the bike which is used once in a while by a friend on some local single track.

Cons: - Cheep
- Cluncky

Recommendation: Upgrade, you can get way better for a little bit more.
