Pros: - inexpensive
- seems to be rugged so far

Recommendation: As other reviewers have stated, its hard to mess up a front derailuer design. This derailuer works as intended and has not negatively effected my riding.

Pros: Price

Cons: Doesn't work quite as well as I'd like

Recommendation: This is a pretty decent derailleur for the price, and honestly it's hard to mess up the design on a front derailleur.

That said, I've had some issues with this one. Since I got my bike, the chain has rubbed on the inside of the derailleur whenever it has been in the middle chain ring up front and the higher cogs in the back. There is only a small range of cogs that it won't rub in. Performance still remains pretty good, but the rubbing noise just gets to be annoying as heck.
