Pros: Will break free just about anything that has corroded together, even aluminum on aluminum.

Cons: Its not good for much else but definitely a must have in your home shop if things get sticky.

Pros: Does the job - thing not move? PB Blast, thing will move.

Cons: LOTS of fumes - definitely use in an open space. It also gets very messy and wet.

Recommendation: Use on old parts that won't budge to loosen them up, but I wouldn't advise it on a chain - if your chain is that bad, it's probably best to replace.

Pros: Cuts grease and Oil

Cons: Doesn't clean like degreaser

Recommendation: I like this stuff, but it's a penetrating oil not a degreaser. It will cut the crud, but it's going to leave everything coated in oil.

Pros: Rust removal
Helps with Stuck bolts/nuts

Cons: None

Recommendation: I use this on old parts that have been neglected...rusted, dirty, things that haven't been removed or serviced in decades. I don't find a lot of use on my current bikes. If you've got rusted parts on your $4000 bike, you need to wash it more often. If you're using this as a degreaser, there are better products.

Pros: Nothing works better for removing rusted parts. NOTHING.

Cons: Use in an open area or you are going to kill some serious brain cells.

Recommendation: This stuff works great for rusted seat posts, pedals, and stuck spoke nipples. Keep it off your rotors and stay ventilated.

Pros: Cheap, works, easy to find

Cons: Hate the smell

Recommendation: PB Blaster really helps get your bike free from dirt. It is also useful for days when you get your components wet. PB Blaster smells bad so make sure you use in a well ventilated area. Try some today and you won't be disapointed.
