Pros: Low price point, can replace rings, durable.

Cons: none that I know of

Recommendation: i destroyed my stock crankset on my Haro Flightline within 3 months. I had the Race Face put on by an LBS and I haven't had a single issue. I have about 1,000 miles on these and they are beat to hell but they still perform.

Model/Year: 2016

Pros: Durable.

Cons: None

Recommendation: These came stock on my 2016 Xcaliber 9. I have no complaints. They have held up to everything I've ridden without the first problem.

Pros: - Durable
- easy to install
- interchangable gears
- strong

Cons: None that I have come across

Recommendation: These cranks came stock on my Ginat Anthem and I love them. They have been very very durable as I ride almost year round in any type of weather that New England can throw at me. I regularly ride some of the most technical single and double track that New Hampshire has to offer and these have never negatively impacted my riding. These have seen a lot of abuse and still keep turning.

Model/Year: 2011

Pros: Cheap and easy to install as are most external BB cranksets. For the most part, they have aged well and seem stiff enough to get the job done for everyday normal riding. Replacement chainrings are pretty cheap and interchangable with other brands.

Cons: Not the lightest or strongest thing you'll find out there but what did you expect given the price?

Recommendation: If you aren't racing or doing FR/DH, these should get the job done as a cheap solution.
