Pros: Followup to my previous review. I love every part of this bell, but after 2 years of use weekly on the trail, the bell striker finally broke off. I guess I have to buy new, which seems a bit costly if I'm doing it every 2 years. Regardless, as a bear bell goes, it's loud, compact in my cockpit, and I can turn it on/off with a flick of the switch. I will mention too about 9 months ago the switch that turns it off and on was starting to get loose and wasn't holdings well as it did when new and would start turning on by itself.

Pros: Bell is really well designed, compact and tucks nicely out of the way. It is easy to actuate the on/off lever and the tone is pleasant.

Cons: none.

Pros: Adjust volume of bell / somewhat On / Off button Nice tone Saved me from head on crashes a few times already Low profile Gives positive image of mountain bike riders IE we don't come screaming around corners and scaring horses or hikers.

Cons: None so far

Recommendation: My home trails are two way with many blind corners and dopes that don't announce there presence on the trail. This bell has prevented a few crashes. Also hikers and equestrians have made positive remarks about it.
