With 167mm of travel on the rear, 170mm on front and a solid build, this bike will handle anything the mountain throws at you. The amazing thing though is how well it climbs. The DW link is so competent. The bike may be a bit heavy, but it doesn't ride like it at all. It is playful and corners like a dream. Buy a size larger to get a longer top tube and better reach and center. The top tube makes this possible because it sweeps down so low to greatly reduce the standover height.
