Model/Year: 2013 Black

Pros: lightweight (for FS)
Responsive
Maneuverable

Cons: paint scratches off relatively easily

Recommendation: Beautiful frame that is responsive and fast. Climbs well, but also feels good on downhill

Model/Year: Canzo/2007

Pros: Fast, smooth, very responsive for 29er

Cons: Poor acceleration

Recommendation: My first F/S bike and I'm in love with it. Very responsive, very high attack points, flows very smoothly through berms and tight sections, eats roots for breakfast and pretty strong on technical climbs.

Model/Year: 2007

Pros: Super light for a F/S steel frame set, killer looks, great handling

Cons: Headtube badge fell off (though addressed quickly by VooDoo

Recommendation: I love this bike. I would recommend it all day long. Bang for buck is impressive. Sure a new Santa Cruz Tall Boy or elite carbon frame set will be lighter, but I love the way this turns heads and having ridden both, I can't say I'd stray away....

Pros: Strong and free of flex. Pretty tough bike. Available factory direct on eBay at half of the MSRP. Same weight as lower end rigid frames.

Cons: Shock needs to be aired up every 50 miles. After 300 miles or so a creaking sound appeared that I can't locate.

Recommendation: I outfitted this bike with the part from my Fisher Cobia when I broke the frame. It's pretty heavy and frankly, could never be built into a lightweight no matter what components you use. If you don't mind the weight, it's a tough and responsive ride. I'm pretty hard on things so mind take quite a bit of maintenance.

Pros: strong, sturdy, basically a bulletproof bike at a VERY competitive price.

Cons: Heavy, like its owner! Could probably lighten it up with better components.

Recommendation: If you're concerned about weight-go elsewhere. If you're curious about the 29er experience, this is a good bike to start with.
