Event Description

Calling all women! Are you ready to get rad on mountain bikes in a welcoming and encouraging environment? Whether you're interested in getting into mountain biking or already ride or race and want to take your riding to the next level, join the Ladies AllRide crew this summer to play on bikes in awesome locations around the country!

Bend, OR is an outdoor enthusiast's dream. Dubbed the "outdoor playground of the West," Bend is famous for it's outdoor pursuits, laid-back vibe, pristine beauty, sun-drenched days and cool nights. The mountain bike trails are flowy and fun. You can't help but smile on some of the long swooping downhills with rollers, berms and some trails even have jumps. The few lava rock gardens are challenging and the views on the upper trails are spectacular. The best thing about Bend is the easy access to so many trails nearby, yet you're deep in the woods away from it all. Plus, with around 16 breweries (our favorite is Deschutes Brewery) and a plethora of local coffee goodness, it's easy to wind up or wind down in this outdoor mecca.

This clinic is hosted at Seventh Mountain Resort where we work on perfecting skills using a large grassy area, a mountain bike-specific skills center, dirt jumps, a giant berm, small drops, a pumptrack and cross-country style trails nearby. Each afternoon we shuttle or ride to nearby cross-country trails for shred-sessions! Whoo hoo!

*Camp notes: This is a "cross-country" focused camp with pedaling up and descending down fun, well-built trails with some rocks and lots of corners. The dirt in Bend is volcanic powder so one of the main challenges is managing the loose corners. Our venue has some great skill-building areas including a small jump zone for more advanced riders to try catching a little air. This camp is great for all levels of riders, especially newer riders because the trail system is fairly mellow (meaning not super steep or technical) with some fun rock sections and big rock up-and-overs to navigate. There will be an ample amount of pedaling so it is advised to have a little base fitness and stamina for the weekend, keeping in mind the trail sessions are not "hammer-fests" because we stop frequently to practice on challenging features
