Wilderness First Aid Course Tuition: $250
To attend this course you must possess Adult CPR/AED Certification. You can add on CPR Certification to this course for an additional $50.00
CPR Certification will be held as a blended learning course with an online component to complete at home in advance, and a session from 7:00pm-9:00pm on Friday the 6th
Wilderness First Aid Certification itself will be held Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-5:30pm
Course Logistics
No housing or meals are included. You can purchase Saturday and Sunday Meals with the course. Alternatively, you can reserve a private or shared cabin, or private campsite and also book meals throughout the weekend.
Purpose
To provide individuals a foundation of first aid principles and skills to be able to respond to emergencies and give care in areas that do not have immediate emergency medical services (EMS) response. This includes wilderness and remote environments, including urban disasters, such as earthquakes and hurricanes.
Prerequisites
Possess current adult CPR/AED certification (this can be completed Friday Night)
Be at least 14 years of age on or before the last scheduled session of the course
