Started in 2009, this race is famous for a trail feature nicknamed the "taco stand" -- not only because of its steep half-pipe shape, but also because of what it tends to do to wheels. (Photographers like to hang out there to catch people jumping...or crunching frames like tortilla chips.) Held in Tribble Mill Park, this is one of our tougher courses, on what race director Kenny Griffin calls "old-school '90s singletrack"--twisty and riddled with technical features. Drawing competitors from 9 states, this event raises funds for the Gwinnett Area Trail Riders (GATR) chapter of the Southeast Off-Road Biking Association (SORBA).
This year's Taco Stand Classic will be the SEC Series Championship race.
