All racers will start on a fire road that's approximately 1.2 miles. This will give everyone the chance to spread out a bit before diving into the single track main course. Each lap is approximately 6.5 miles with 950 feet of elevation per lap. It has a 6% average grade and 20% max grade with a base elevation of 3,545' and 4,078' peak. Description from Race Director, Clint Claassen: "The trail is quiet, with a bed of pine needles on the surface. You can rail on the flowing trail, especially on the long and extremely fun downhills. It is built for smooth speed and maximum fun on an XC bike."
