Description:
The Moore Fun Trail is 4.5 miles to the highpoint offering stunning 360 degree views of the Kokopelli Trail System, the Colorado River, and Fruita. You can ride it as an out or back, or continue on and hook up with Mack's Ridge and Steve's to make it a loop. The 4.5 miles to the high point is marked by about 1500 feet of elevation gain with some very rocky, technical terrain. The trail isn't marked great, but good enough. The first mile or so winds through some rock gardens and slick rock trail leading to a high meadow. This connects to another rocky climb to the top. Took me about 1 hour 15 mins to get to the highpoint, and about 20-25 mins down.
