• Arcadia State Park in East Greenwich, Rhode Island
Arcadia is the ONLY place to ride in RI. THe park has fire roads and singletrack all over the place. Some technical, some fast, all great. Still see it with my eyes closed. Get there soon. Don't confuse it with Acadia in Maine. It's ARCADIA!

• Snake Den State Forest in Johnston, Rhode Island
Another little shit hole of a place to ride. Good for beginners or for a change of pace. They no longer dogs so this counts me and my four legged training partner out. Oh well I won't cry about losing this one.

• Walkabout Trail/george Washington Management Area in Chepachet, Rhode Island
Technical singletrack: some steep climbs and rock gardens. If you get tired, you can always pick up a fire road to get back. The scenery is worth it: lake views, hemlock forests, and not many people.
