Alum Creek Phase I in Lewis Center, Ohio
Beginners can handle this trail, but it also has alot of technical aspects to build bike skills. Really good trail to enjoy your MTB, there is also a 2 mile beginner loop across the road from the entry. Good to warm up on or to teach a little one to ride. Some neat obstacles and technic...

Alum Creek Phase Ii in Lewis Center, Ohio
This loop is well marked and the fine people of COMBO deserve the credit for a wonderful technical challenge. It is clear that some of the MTB riders in this area take their trail riding seriously. This is a narrow singletrack with technical sections throughout. Not a sleeper, since most o...

Archers Fork Loop Trail in New Matamoros - Wayne..., Ohio
Don't miss the large overhang (Cave) and Natural Bridge (one of only 7 in Ohio) which are on this trail. IMHO the best way to ride this loop is counter clockwise. When you get to the intersection noted above, you are right beside the cave. Take the right mentioned above (counter cl...

Atchinson (hogback Ridge North) in Madison, Ohio
Great singletrack for beginners, or anyone who wants easy to moderate singletrack. The trail is well maintained with solid log bridges and 2x4 bridges. The main track is a short loop that can be done in 20 minutes easy. The track is on a slight grade to make a nice light climb. Tight s...

Blackhand Gorge in Nashport, Ohio
If you are looking for a simple relaxing ride through a beautiful and historical area then this is the place. Paved trail, which is shared by walkers extends for approx. 4.7 miles into Ohio's only bike trail in the state's Nature Preserve system. This trail is an out and back trail and is ...

Caesar's Creek in Waynesville, Ohio
Great network of trails by the lake. There are alot of hills on this trail to keep the trail rolling. Several descents are steep and the ascents can be just as challenging. Lots of leaves here in the fall to slip you up. Much of the trail is tight, twisty singletrack lined with small t...

City Trails - Marietta Hs in Marietta, Ohio
One can enjoy this network of trails in either direction. The loop will take you around and down under the school. As you cross the bridge under the school, go left or right and the trail will loop again. The figure 8 loop is 2 miles total. Off the one loop there is a new trail about 1...

City Trails - North Hills Trail in Marietta, Ohio
I suggest riding some road miles with this trail and make a loop. Start at the Subway, ride up the short hill behind the store. When you come to the blacktop road, go left for about 30 feet and into the woods on the opposite side of the road. Ride up the hill and take next right. Then ...

Dillon State Park in Zanesville, Ohio
Trail starts at an easy, level meadow (Green) trail and winds through toward the medium wooded (Yellow) trail which offers some nice tight chalenges with small obstacles. About a mile on the yellow trail is a branch to the difficult (Red) trail. Larger obstacles from boulders to large tree...

Dublin Trails in Dublin, Ohio
The best parts' of the trails are located in the woods. You add miles to your ride by taking laps around the open fields. The woods has various obstacles, sharp downhills, slight climbs, a few creek crossings, and the 'tree-of-death'. Check out the websote for more details!

Nice ride for family.

Great Seal State Park in Chillicothe, Ohio
There are ridiculous, lung-burning, quad-thrashing climbs. All but the truly fittest will walk. Now, this makes for some rip-roarin\' downhills. The woods are pretty and you\'ve got more vertical relief here than anyplace in Ohio. Unfortunately, these trails are very popular with eques...

Hudson Springs Park in Hudson, Ohio
There is a loop gravel loop that goes around the lake in the park and along the loop there are several singletracks that shoot off and eventually reconnect with the gravel path. Nothing is to crazy here but it is a good after work ride. If you head off on a counterclockwise direction ar...

Lake Hope State Park in Athens, Ohio
Quite possibly the best singletrack in OH. Well maintained trails and very flowy. Low on the technical side, but the flow and speed you can carry, coupled with the relative distance of the loops (25 miles or so of pure singletrack) make it darn near impossible to beat in OH. Have fun!
