ProsOil based lube. P.T.F.E. The convenient straw.

VerdictThis stuff is pretty good. It's available in a drip bottle like this, spray on, and a tiny "to-go" type to take with you on the trails. The formula also incorporates Teflon. You can use this lube on any "moving part" on your MTB. The most notable places I've used them, would be the pivot points on your shifters and brakes, as well as the derailleurs.

I don't actually use this on my chain, so I can say how well it works with that.
