| Pros | Quick handling, 22.5 lb. weight, Avid brakes (although noisy), Maverick fork is a nice ride. | | Cons | The 26 rear tones down the 29er momentum advantage a bit, but a good trade off for the weight. | | Verdict | This thing is a rocketship. I haven't ridden my geared bike since I bought the Trek earlier this summer. Quick handling, maybe not for the beginner |
| Pros | very stiff frame, adjustable dropouts, avid hydraulic brakes and big front wheel | | Cons | the top crown on the maverick fork needs to be beefed up to a 4 bolt instead of two. | | Verdict | its a great bike but if i can't find a better crown I will have to get a different fork!if anyone else is having this problem please contact me and tell me I'm not the only one. |
