The geometry takes the bob out of going up hills. I noticed this the first 100 yards of riding. I have owned one for 18 monthes now with no complaints,

rear tire width is limited but in xc you dont want a big tire anyway.

Fast & light ride even during climbs
Fox F100 RLT fork - cushy & easy to lock out
anodized paint job looks sharp!
Cons
XS size needs some customization for a better women's fit (it came with a 175 crank & im only 5'0")

You'll have an advantage on the climbs plus a smooth ride with the rear suspension.
