Bumpy and slow on pavement. What do you expect from an off road tire? | | Verdict | I ride lots of loose dirt and rocks uphill and downhill.
These are the grippiest tires I have ridden and are even grippier than the Panaracer Fire XC Pro.
The recommended direction orients the front and rear the same. I mounted the rear backwards (much like Panaracers) to help uphill traction. Downhill braking traction is still excellent. | | Recommended for: Experienced XC riders |

The treads seem to be wearing at a reasonable rate too. So the tire should last for a good amount of time. | | Recommended for: Experienced XC riders |

The tread also wears very slowly, even if you ride on the road alot with them. | | Cons | They don't roll the best, and when you make sharp turns on pavement, you can feel the side knobbies. | | Verdict | If you want a light, strong, gripping tire, then this is for you.
