ProsLightweight--makes it easy to ride and fast, easy maintenance, simple good looks, great value (high quality components for a good price), Adjustable front forks. Continuous center tread on tires, but with aggressive knobbies on the sides.
ConsWay too much brand-advertising on the bike itself (at least 12 "Jamis" labels on the bike. Bike comes totally "stripped" (not even a single reflector).
VerdictVery enjoyable bike to ride, especially for new mountain-bikers. Easy to ride on road and trails. Tires roll smooth on road (due to continuous middle tread), but also very capable on dirt.
Recommended for: First-time buyers
