Four pawls engage into a twenty-four tooth steel ratchet which is fixed into the hub shell and is sealed with a frictionless, non contact labyrinth seal. The axle runs on four cartridge bearings.

LOUD rear hub (everyone knows you are coming)! Great Value. Cons Softer aluminum cassette body can get scratched, though it's purely cosmetic. LOUD rear hub (sometimes you wish everyone didn't know you were coming). Verdict A FANTASTIC set of hubs that are easily convertible to almost every setup I could imagine running. Have built two wheel sets using these hubs already and planning for a third. Best hubs on the market when you consider price,versatility, weight, and hub options.
