| Pros | Cheap compared to discs, quiet once I got them adjusted, flawless braking except in the worst conditions | | Cons | Adjustment was tricky | | Verdict | I ended up using an old canti brake trick to get them adjusted - I coated all the washers, spacers threads and pads in beeswax. The was helps everything slide against each other more smoothly while moving stuff around, then holds all the bits in place while you tighten it down (plus I like the smell). I am on my 3rd set of pads on these and they are not going to be taken off even though I have a set of Avid BB7's in my parts bin doing nothing. |
| Pros | They came off the bike easy, fit well in spare parts drawer | | Cons | Was like canti's hard to adjust well, pads super hard wet ride sucked |
