Filmed over the period of a few months in and around Edinburgh by Dave Sowerby, this video of Inspired Bicycles team rider Danny MacAskill (more info at www.dannymacaskill.com) features probably the best collection of street/street trials riding ever seen. There's some huge riding, but also some of the most technically difficult and imaginative lines you will ever see. Mountain Biking

July 1st-3rd 2005: 24 of the worlds top freeride mountain bikers were invited to Snowshoe Mountain Resort in West Virginia to compete in the second annual slopestyle event known as the Bike Magazine Monster Park. Not only did the riders help design the course, but the also judged each other during the competition to see who would go home with first place and $4500 bucks. The riders were broken into two groups with one judging the other. After two heats of riding, 12 riders moved to the finals with the other 12 left to judge. Top podium spots went to Darren Berrecloth in first, Thomas Vanderham in second, and Jamie Goldman in third. For more info check out bikemag.com.

This is a video of the Red Bull Rampage competition that was held in Virgin, Utah for three years in a row, I think from 2002-2004. The event was held again in October of 2008. The goal of this competition is to get down the mountain the most difficult way without wrecking or putting a foot down. This stuff is sick! Side Note: I do not own the rights to this video.
