"Stock 2011 Trek Fuel EX 8 with Shimano PD-M540 pedals, KMC X10SL chain, WTB Velociraptor tires and Odi Rouge grips weighs in at 29.13 pounds. I'm about to replace the stock Shimano SLX 3x10 drivetrain (bottom bracket, crankset, front/rear derailleurs, shifters and cassette) with SRAM 2x10 XO parts, swap the stock handlebars for a Truvativ Noir T40 carbon, convert to tubeless tires and replace the saddle with a Ti rails WTB. Should be between 25-26 pounds when I'm done. Might go carbon on the seatpost and replace the stem, too."
