| I will be in St. George, UT March 30-April 3, 2009 with about ten friends. Is there anyone out there that knows the area real well and would like to earn a few duckets for showing us the trails? |

Hey Chim Chim - Hit up one of the guys at Red Rock Bicycles in St. George. Ask for Ryan, he runs the shop and will go out of his way to make sure you have a good experience.
We rode with a couple of Ryan's buddies from the shop a few months back. You definitely want to go with a local on a ride like Gooseberry Mesa if you have never been before - or at least take a map and be prepared for an all-day adventure. Wish we were out there longer because there are a ton of great trail systems, and the scenery is to die for. Have a blast and bring back some pics of your rides! |

Yea I would stop and get directions from a bike shop such as the one Mud Honey mentioned, the hardest part is getting to the area and the main trailhead. They all should have trail maps, the shop near Zion gives out free ones. Once there you will find a jeep road that runs E to W through the area with all of the trails looping off of it. If you just stay on any one trail it will eventually come back to the jeep road and your way back to the parking area or another loop. _________________ Dont sweat all the details, just ride... |
