It’s interesting how your perspective changes after a few years on the bike. I still remember sections of my local trails that I used to walk or at the very least struggle with that are no big deal anymore. The good thing is, there is always something new and more difficult to keep you on your toes.

Under three hours this time and that was partly because we spent some time at the overlook tinkering with the exposure settings on the camera. It’s really a beautiful area and I’m glad I took the time to go ride it again…perhaps now I should give the Flowing Park trail on the Grand Mesa another try!

Great ride report. It’s amazing how a trail system can feel slightly different every time you ride it, even if the trail itself hasn’t changed. Weather, fitness, skills, your mood… all that stuff plays a role.

So… how long did it take to ride the loop this time?
