@Goo,

Good questions! I'm actually still torn about what to do with Tsali... It probably doesn't deserve 4 listings and I'm thinking it could be consolidated down to two since Right & Left Loops alternate days with the Mouse & Thompson Loops. So technically you can't ride all 4 loops in a single day - but they do share the same trailhead and overlap in places.

I'm not sure I understand the second question. If an original trail description for say, Heil Valley Ranch (the map in this post) mentions the Ponderosa Loop and Wild Turkey trail but doesn't say anything about the Picture Rock trail we'd prefer that information be amended in a review since all 3 trails are in the same park.

If, by close vicinity you mean that Harbins Park is near Tribble Mill but there's no Harbins Park listing yet then by all means, add Harbins Park (the two are a few miles apart and not connected). Also note that we try to link to nearby trails just below the trail description in a section appropriately named "Nearby Trails" so you can see if those trails are already listed.

ha, so just went back and read the old post, and you did talk specifically about tsali. guess that answers that part of my question.

here's a question:

so what about riding areas where there are several distinctly different trails? such as the tsali trails for instance, they're posted as 4 different trails.

and i've also happened across trail listings that list the name of a place and description and stuff, but there are a lot of trails in the close vicinity that are in no way noted in the original description. i was under the impression that it would be appropriate to add those.

anyhow, good, informative post though!
